That premium tonewood pairing yields an exceptionally complex, harmonically rich voice with a warmth and responsiveness that doesn't sacrifice power or clarity. Inside, our scalloped V-Class bracing enhances the response with more volume, sustain and open-string expressiveness while amplifying the natural overtone character of these unique tonewoods. With an Action Control Neck, players can dial in the perfect feel in seconds without even detuning the strings, and our new Claria undersaddle pickup and preamp deliver clear, beautiful plugged-in tone for live performance applications. Along with the comfort-boosting beveled armrest, cutaway and chamfered body edges, this Grand Auditorium sports ultra-precise Gotoh 510 tuning machines in antique gold, with elegant visual details such as black/koa/paua top edge trim, a paua rosette, Belle Fleur inlays in paua, and mother-of-pearl, abalone-dotted ebony bridge pins, with a lustrous Kona Edgeburst for the back and sides to complete the appointment package.
