The 900 Series has always delivered a singular combination of rich, sophisticated tone and remarkable visual artistry, and this limited-edition Builder's Edition model is no exception. The Next Generation Builder's Edition 914ce LTD boasts back and sides of solid walnut paired with a top of sinker cypress sourced from logs submerged for years in mineral-rich riverbeds, adding up to a uniquely warm, sweet character that matches touch sensitivity and a broad dynamic range with a focused midrange. The scalloped V-Class bracing inside dials up more power, sustain and low-end presence, while the long-tenon Action Control Neck improves tonal transfer and overall resonance. The neck also allows players to make quick, easy adjustments to string height, combining with the chamfered edges, beveled cutaway and armrest, and ultra-precise Gotoh 510 tuning machines for an exceptionally player-friendly experience. An elaborate Sea Forest Vine inlay suite in paua and koa headlines the appointment package, which is capped by a full-body gloss finish with a shaded edgeburst top and a Kona Burst for the back, sides, and neck.
