The Next Generation Builder's Edition 914ce LTD boasts back and sides of solid walnut paired with a top of sinker cypress sourced from logs submerged for years in mineral-rich riverbeds, adding up to a uniquely warm, sweet character that matches touch sensitivity and a broad dynamic range with a focused midrange. The scalloped V-Class bracing inside dials up more power, sustain and low-end presence, while the long-tenon Action Control Neck improves tonal transfer and overall resonance. The neck also allows players to make quick, easy adjustments to string height, combining with the chamfered edges, beveled cutaway and armrest, and ultra-precise Gotoh 510 tuning machines for an exceptionally player-friendly experience. An elaborate Sea Forest Vine inlay suite in paua and koa headlines the appointment package, which is capped by a full-body gloss finish with a shaded edgeburst top and a Kona Burst for the back, sides, and neck.

Highlights

NUMBER OF STRINGS: 6 String

ORIENTATION: Right Handed

BODY SHAPE: Grand Auditorium

BRACING SYSTEM: Scalloped V-Class Bracing with Relief Rout

CUTAWAY: Beveled Cutaway

COLOR: Kona Burst Back/Sides/Neck, SEB Top

ELECTRONICS: The Claria Acoustic Pickup System

CASE/BAG: Brown Taylor Deluxe Hard Shell Case

Body

TOP WOOD: Sinker Cypress

BACK/SIDE WOOD: Walnut

ROSETTE: Paua Single Ring, Bound Sound Hole

BACK CONFIGURATION: 2-piece or 4-piece Simons Wedge

ARMREST: Beveled Neo-tropical Mahogany

TOP FINISH: Gloss

BACK/SIDE FINISH: Gloss

Neck

NECK WOOD: Neo-Tropical Mahogany

FRETBOARD WOOD: West African Crelicam Ebony

NECK PROFILE: Standard Carve

FRETBOARD INLAY: Custom Sea Forest Vine

FRETBOARD BINDING: West African Crelicam Ebony

NECK FINISH: Satin

Peghead

NUT WIDTH: 1-3/4"

PEGHEAD VENEER WOOD: West African Crelicam Ebony

SCALE LENGTH: 25-1/2"

PEGHEAD INLAY: Custom Sea Forest Vine

PEGHEAD TYPE: Paddle

PEGHEAD FINISH: Gloss

Other

BRIDGE: West African Crelicam Ebony

NUT & SADDLE: Black Tusq Nut, White Micarta Saddle

BRIDGE PINS: West African Crelicam Ebony with Green Abalone Dots

STRINGS: D'Addario XS Coated Phosphor Bronze Light (.012 - .053)

PICKGUARD: None

TUNERS: Gotoh 510 Antique Gold with Antique Gold Buttons

STRAP PIN: Black

END PIN: Black

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0011/4645/4116/files/DSC_6556_1560a103-7878-40f2-9efc-b95331e04495.jpg?v=1793982785
https://miami-guitars.com/products/taylor-next-generation-builders-edition-914ce-ltd-walnut-w-sinker-cypress-top-walnut-back-and-sides-acoustic-electric-2026-1209236013
